Thus spoke Sri Ramana Maharshi

Men speak of divine vision, yet paint them differently with the seer himself in the scene. Even hypnotists can make one sees strange scenes and phenomena, which you condemn as tricks and jugglery, whereas the former you extol as divine. Why is this difference? The fact is that all sights are unreal, whether they come from the senses or the mind as pure concepts. This is the truth.

In truth there is nothing visual. How do you feel the I now? Do you hold a mirror before you to know your own being? The awareness is the I. Realise it and that is the truth.

The poise in the self itself is its vision because there is no duality and the Self is one, the whole.

Do not be deceived by visions.
